The Right Way to Create a CV (Bright Internships x Universitas Ciputra)

Surabaya, May 25, 2024 – Bright Internships, in collaboration with Universitas Ciputra, successfully conducted an exclusive training and workshop focused on creating Applicant Tracking System (ATS) compliant CVs on May 24, 2024, at the Universitas Ciputra campus.

The workshop was designed to equip undergraduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to craft CVs that stand out in today's competitive job market. With the increasing use of ATS by employers to streamline the hiring process, understanding how to create an ATS-friendly CV has become crucial for job seekers.

The audience comprised students from the International Business Management program, spanning 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th semesters. These students had the unique opportunity to gain insights and hands-on experience in CV creation.

The first session, training, was led by the CEO of Bright Internships, Ms. Florensia Wiyono. She shared insights on the latest trends and best practices in CV creation. During this session, Bright Internships provided comprehensive materials on CV creation, covering:

  • The functionality of ATS and its impact on the hiring process.
  • Effective formatting and structuring of CVs to pass through ATS filters.
  • Techniques for highlighting relevant skills and experiences to enhance the chances of getting shortlisted.
  • Common pitfalls to avoid that can lead to CV rejection by ATS.

Following the training, participants engaged in a hands-on workshop where they created their own CVs. The Bright Internships team then reviewed each CV, offering personalized feedback to help attendees improve and optimize their documents for ATS.

This collaboration aimed to empower students of Universitas Ciputra with practical tools to enhance their employability and succeed in their career pursuits. The event also provided an excellent opportunity for students to gain valuable insights into the job market.
