How to Boost Up Your Confidence

Have you ever been in a situation where you are sitting amidst your colleagues, but somehow you feel so ‘small’ because you think you are nothing compared to them?

Or

Have you ever felt where you are terribly afraid to do something new because you think you are not capable to do it?

If your answers are “yes”, you need to know how to boost up your confidence.

Love yourself

Loving yourself is basic of the basic. Loving yourself does not mean you are being a narcissistic. Nevertheless, you do not let negative things gnaw your body and your mind. Some ways to show your love to yourself are feed up your body with healthy foods, keep in mind that your body need repose and your brain need refreshing, give rewards to yourself once in a time, and many other positive things. By loving yourself, you can gain your confidence because you will feel that you are worth it wherever and whenever. If you do not start to love yourself, who will?

Prepare your day

Doubtlessly, every person will be more confidence if they know how everything works. Therefore, you have to prepare your presence in front of the world before you begin your new day. Mark your calendar or your agenda of important events like meeting, presenting day, hanging out with colleague, and many others. Read a lot of new information to keep you up-to-date or reviewing your tomorrow works so you will not be clueless with what you will do tomorrow before you go to bed and get enough sleep. Eat your breakfast, wear your best outfit, and put a little make up before you step out from your dwelling. You are ready to give the best for the world.

Encourage yourself

Feeling afraid to do something or feeling nervous when you are about to walk into an interview may happen to many people. The key to let those feeling away is you have to give encouragement to yourself that you can do it. Believe to yourself that you can pass through whatever it is successfully because you have prepared everything before. Go to bathroom and give a smile to yourself. Do things that can release nervousness and any negatives vibes away from your mind, like talk to yourself and listen to your favorite music. 

Mingle with good people

If you find someone who always talk negatively and you feel uncomfortable around him or her, you better stay away from him or her. Keep in mind that good people will not ruin your day because they will always give you positive vibe. Good people will appreciate your presence and your effort. Having these kind of people around you will increase your confidence because you will find out that you are valued.  

Be grateful

A grateful feeling on what you have and a genuine smile to others will show that you are confident and feel good about your life. Create a 5-min daily gratitude journal and it will give you a positive outcome to be a happier, healthier, more optimist and surely boost up your confidence!
